The Burger Hut Patty Wagon is a mobile kitchen, specifically set up for corporate picnics, parties, fundraisers and other special events. We bring to your event the same delicious 100% Natural, Fresh Ground USDA grade A charbroiled beef hamburgers, that we serve in our stores. All the ingredients Burger Hut uses are fresh, delicious, and of the highest quality.
Your guests can customize their burger creations, at our legendary Fresh Fixin's Bar, which allows them to build their own burgers with a wide selection of fresh vegetables, condiments, and our own exclusive sauces. In addition to our great burgers we offer our “Famous Fries” and classic onion rings. Guests can top off their order with their choice from an assortment of Coca Cola® bottled drinks.
To complement our tasty food, our team is prepared to provide your guests with the high energy friendly service that Burger Hut is famous for. Our Patty Wagon Team is ready to make your event a success!
How to Reserve the Patty Wagon
- The Burger Hut Patty Wagon is booked on a "first come, first served" basis. We advise you to book your cookout a minimum of 3-4 months in advance. Longer lead times are always beneficial, especially for weekends and weekday lunch hours.
- The cost of your event is determined by the amount of food used, plus sales tax and miscellaneous charges such as mileage and overtime or the Minimum/Guarantee whichever is higher.
- The minimum charge to bring a unit out is $850 or 75% of your estimated order, whichever is higher, and entitles you to 1.5 hours of serving time. Additional time may incur an overtime charge of $100 per half hour. Sales tax will be charged on all food items. (Note: Product cannot be substituted for unused meals to satisfy your minimum).
- Cash is not accepted at the Burger Hut Patty Wagon. It will be your responsibility to pre-sell tickets or have someone at the event to handle money. Final payment must be made at the completion of your event by check, Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
- Patty Wagon Trailers are fully self-contained units, equipped with generators and operated and staffed completely by the Burger Hut Patty Wagon team.
- Our Trailer requires from 40 to 50 feet of parking space, with a 14 foot overhead clearance, and a driveway width of at least 10 feet. Due to the weight of the units, they require a firm, level surface for parking. (We will do our best to accommodate your needs.) Please be aware that some areas may be inaccessible due to narrow or steep roads or driveways and low overhanging trees.
- Burger Hut provides the trailer, products, staff, a trash can, and a condiment bar. Tables, chairs, etc. are your responsibility. Burgers and fries or rings are served in a box with a napkin. Sodas are provided in bottles or cans and do not include cups or ice.
- You are responsible for obtaining event locations and any necessary permits. A map of how to get to your location and where you want the trailer placed is appreciated. Burger Hut maintains the right to relocate the trailer if the site is not suitable.
- To reserve a date, we must have a signed contract, a $500 deposit, and proof of liability insurance. Visa, Mastercard and American Express accepted.
- The Burger Hut Patty Wagon is only available for events in Butte, Sutter, Yuba, Sacramento, Placer and El Dorado counties.
